Abstract
Abstract A film made of plasticised PVC (polyvinyl chloride) has one glossy surface and another, matt surface. The glossy surface, which may also have been printed, is protected by a thin, transparent, separate film of polypropylene. This polypropylene film has preferably been biaxially stretched. This design facilitates winding-up of the glossy PVC film without folding and without impairing the glossy surface.
