Acidically non-stable anchoring groups for solid-phase peptide amide synthesis
Abstract
The invention relates to new compounds of the formula <IMAGE> wherein R¹ (C1-C8) alkyl, R² is an amino acid residue which is protected with a weakly acidic or basic cleavable urethane protective group, or a weakly acidic or basic cleavable amino protective group, R³ is hydrogen or (C1 -C4) -alkyl and Y¹-Y <9> identical or different radicals hydrogen, (C1-C4) -alkyl, (C1-C4) -alkoxy or -O- (CH2) n-COOH, (with n = 1 to 6), where one of these radicals is -O- (CH2) n-COOH, or Y 1, Y 2, Y 5 -Y-9 same or different radicals hydrogen, (C1-C4) -alkyl or (C1-C4 ) -Alkoxy, Y³ (C1-C8) -alkoxy or hydrogen and Y <4> - (CH2) n-COOH or -NH-CO- (CH2) n-COOH (with n = 1 to 6). Methods for their preparation and the synthesis of peptide amides using a solid phase method using these new compounds (spacers) are described.
