Use of polyisocyanate solutions for the impregnation of mineral substrates
Abstract
Abstract The use of solutions of a) urea group-free, fluorine-containing polyisocyanates in b) solvents which are inert towards isocyanate groups for impregnating mineral substrates, selected fluorine-containing polyisocyanates which are suitable for this purpose and have a fluorine content, in the form of perfluorinated alkyl groups, of from 15 to 60% by weight and an isocyanate content of from 0.5 to 15% by weight, which have been prepared by reacting (cyclo)aliphatic isocyanates with fluorine-containing monohydric and polyhydric alcohols, and selected fluorine-containing alcohols which are suitable for the preparation of polyisocyanates of this type.
