Dealing apparatus

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To improve the dealing of service at the window without requiring much expenses by using the conventional automatic dealing apparatus as an auto-casher while taking into consideration that it has bank note counting and projecting functions. CONSTITUTION: A dealing apparatus 1 is installed on a counter 2 at the window of a bank such that its front is directed to face customers whereas its back is directed to the bank clerks. There are provided a card reader 13 of a magnetic card 14 for personel confirmation, an imprinter 15 for transferring the embossed letters on the card to tickets and jounal paper, a guide indicator 16 mounted on a guide display panel 4 for guiding the operations of a customer, a key board 17 for generating signals of a key board 7, a paying mechanism 18 for counting a designated number of bank notes 20 of designated kind from a bank note hopper 19 and for delivering them to a cash exit 5 or 9, and a control unit 23 for controlling in a time shearing manner the paying and receiving operations together with the receiving operations for judging the genuiness of the bank notes from the cash inlet 6 or 10 for inserting them into a cash safe 22. The paying mechansim 18 is equipped with a change- over gate so that the bank notes may be fed out into the exit 5 or 9 in response to the operations by the customer or the clerk COPYRIGHT: (C)1979,JPO&Japio
