High cold-oriented film and its production
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: High cold-oriented films suitably used as films for shrink packaging due to their high transparency, which are composed of a specifically mixed composition and a crystalline polypropylene. CONSTITUTION: (A) 100 parts by wt of a composition consisting of (a) 95W10wt% of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer containing preferably 5-30wt% of vinyl acetate component and (b) 5W90wt% of an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer containing 60W95mole% of ethylene and (B) 5W200 parts of a crystalline polypropylene, high-density polyethylene, and/or polybutene-1 are mixed and molten, extruded from a ring die and solidified by cooling. The resulting tube is drawn at 20W100°C at a draw ratio of 5W30 in area and 2W7 in the traverse direction COPYRIGHT: (C)1979,JPO&Japio
