Lining of inside of pipe

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To seal completely the long inside area of an already installed pipe by inserting a lining tube whose outside surface is coated with an adhesive in folded state into a pipe to be lined. CONSTITUTION: The lining tube 5 whose outside surface is coated with an adhesive in a folded state is inserted into the pipe 2 embedded under the ground 1, for example, the end portion of the pipe 2 is fixed throughout on the shaft 3 side, the inserting block 19 to which the flexible exhaust pipe 21 with the exhaust port 22 is attached is inserted into the lining tube 5, and then the end protions of the tube 5 and the pipe 2 are sealed air-tightly with the terminal plate 26. Then, while sucking up air through the exhaust port 22 and the exhaust pipe 21, compressed air is sent into the tube 5 through the vent 27 of the terminal plate 26, the inserting block 19 is moved from the shaft 3 side to the shaft 4 side (in the arrow direction 20), the lining tube 5 id expanded in the radial direction of the pipe 2, and it is adhered to the inside of the pipe 2 with the aid of the adhesive on the periphery of the tube 5.
