Adhesive composition

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: The title composition usable for bonding polyolefin resin materials to metallic materials, comprising a specific block copolymer, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, an ethylene resin, coumarone-indene resin, and a tackifier resin. CONSTITUTION: A composition comprising (A) 100 parts by wt. of one or more types of block copolymers having a molecular weight of 5,000W500,000, of formulas I, II, III, IV and V: (A is monovinyl substituted aromatic compound polymer block; B is conjugated diolefin polymer block; X is polyfunctional residue having m direct bonds; n is an integer 2W10), comprising 10W70 wt.% of a monovinyl substituted aromatic compound, (B) 10W100 parts by wt. of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, (C) 10W100 parts by wt. of an ethylene resin, (D) 5W100 parts by wt. of coumarone-indene resin, and (E) 30W200 parts by wt. of a tackifier resin, e.g. terpene resin.
