Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To prevent the misdetection of the return signals at the transient time by absorbing the variation of the voltage with which the return signal is converted in case the return signal treated by the current mode of the multiple transmission device lacks for a fixed time. CONSTITUTION: Terminal unit 24 applies the return signal to current-voltage conversion circuit 25 via transmission line 23. The control signal given from control signal generation circuit 21 is applied to return signal monitor circuit 27 via the gate, and the output from reference voltage control circuit 28 is applied to return signal detection circuit 26. In case more than two units of the return signal lack, circuit 26 generates the abnormal signal to control circuit 28. Then the gain of the reference voltage generator is increased to well cope with the sudden increment of the return signal input, thus preventing the misdetection of the return signal at the transient time.
