Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To prevent unnatural movie photographing etc. by disabling the operation of a movie camera for which a predetermined position is required at the time other than the specific posture according to the posture of a composite camera which permits both of still photographing and movie photographing. CONSTITUTION: When a composite camera body 1 is rotated 90°, a lock member 12 is oscillated by a weight 14 and it is detected that the body 1 is at a posture other than the specific posture, then a shutter release button 8 for movie photographing is locked by the member 12 to disable the operation. The still camera part in the body 1 does not receive this restriction and the still photographing is performed in any posture. Here, the similar results are obtained even by detecting the posture of the camera body from the movement of the sealed conductive fluid such as mercury and controlling the opening and closing of a switch for shutter drive motor.
