Picture synthesizer

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a desired synthetic picture, by synthesizing a reference picture stored in a reference picture memory and an additional picture stored in an additional picture memory through changing the form, etc. CONSTITUTION:A reference picture from a reference picture memory 1 is given to a synthesis circuit 6 through an erase circuit 2. The additional picture from the additional picture memory 3 is given to a synthesis circuit 6 through a deformation circuit 4 and a density change circuit 5. A control circuit 9 controls the circuits 4, 5 to adjust the form and density of the additional picture to a desired value. A synthesized picture obtained from the synthesis circuit 6 is sequentially displayed on a picture monitor 7. Thus, the operator abserves a picture displayed on the monitor 7 and operates the control circuit 9 so as to make the form, etc. to a desired value to obtain an arbitary synthesized picture.
