Binary-coding circuit of analog signal
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To attain sure binary-coding independently of the fluctuation in a video signal by binary-coding an analog signal with a comparison reference value obtained from the operation between a maximum and a minimum value of a digital signal A/D-converting a video signal of a preceding frame. CONSTITUTION:A video signal is converted into a digital signal at an A/D converter 1, and inputted to a comparator 2 and a maximum/minimum value detecting circuit 3. This detecting circuit 3 detects the maximum and the minimum value of the digital signal of the A/D-converted video signal of the preceding frame. An operation circuit 4 operates (maximum value + minimum value)/2 and its output is given to the comparator 2 as the comparison reference signal. The digitized video signal is binary-coded at the comparator 2.
