Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To effectively prevent the leakage of liquid from occurring and consequently enhance the reliability of the titled deivce without necessitating any reservoir mechanism by a structure wherein a liquid reflux mechanism to bypass liquid from a main passage output circuit to an intermediate liquid chamber is provided. CONSTITUTION:When wheel lock occurs, a solenoid 13 is energized so as to close a first valve 9, resulting in shutting-off an input port 4 and an output port 5. After that, a solenoid 20 is energized so as to open a third valve 16, resulting in flowing pressure liquid into a pumping mechanism 21 and sucking said pressure liquid up to an accumulator 26 by means of the pumping mechanism 21. The pressure liquid is in a state to be able to send through a check valve 15 to an intermediate liquid chamber 8a'. However, the pressure liquid is kept within the accumulator 26, because the intermediate liquid chamber 8a' is sealed from outside by the valve 9 and a second valve 27. When the wheel lock is released due to the lowering of the hydraulic pressure of a brake, the valve 16 returns to its normally closed state. After that, the re-pressurization of a main passage output circuit 8b can be done by opening the valve 9, when necessary.
