Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To enable the speed of a capstan motor to be controlled in a wide range with a forward or reverse rotational speed, by applying a feedback loop so that the digital value of a rotation detecting means may coincide with a digital command value, and by changing the digital command value slowly. CONSTITUTION:From a rotation detector 23, the output of digital signal b and timing signal q according to the rotation of a motor section 21 based on signal from a rotation sensor 22 is generated. By the arithmetic unit 25 of a compensator 24, when the timing signal q is changed, then the digital signal b is subtracted from a digital command value for a reference, and a digital rotation error is obtained, and the digital rotation error is added to a cumulative digital value before one rotation. Then, a digital value Y according to the cumulative digital value is applied to a driving unit 28 via a D/A converter 27. Besides, when the digital command value is changed, then the value is increased or reduced at every almost constant time and by every almost specified value.
