A METHOD OF MAKING A VITRIFIABL ENAMEL FOR THE DECORATION OF GLASS, WHICH COMPRISES THE STEPS OF (1) PREPARING A FLUX MIXTURE HAVING A FOLLOWING COMPOSITION IN THE FOLLOWING PROPORTIONS, NAMELY: LEAD MONOXIDE (PBO) 64.9%, SILICA (SIO2) 26.2%, BORIC OXIDE (B2O3) 5.2% AND SODA (NA2O) 3.7%, (2) MELTING THE MIXTURE AT RED HEAT AND GRINDING IN WITH 95.5 PARTS OF THE RESULTANT FRITTED FLUX, 4.5 PARTS OF MOLYBDIC OXIDE AND 5 PARTS OF CERIC OXIDE.
