Abstract A BLADED ROTOR SUPPORT AT BOTH ENDS WITHIN A HOUSING TURNS IN TIMED RELATION WITH A POCKETED ROTARY GATE MOUNTED SUBSTANTIALLY WITHIN THE ROTOR AND TURNING IN THE SAME DIRECTION. THE ROTOR BLADES PASS THROUGH AN ARCUATE CHANNEL AND THE GATE POCKETS RECEIVE THEM AS THEY PASS BETWEEN THE CHANNEL ENDS. ONE END OF THE ROTOR IS SUPPORTED BY ROLLERS ENGAGING A TRACKWAY, AND AN INTERNAL GEAR DRIVE NEAR THE TRACKWAY CONNECTS THE ROTOR TO THE POCKETED GATE.
