Abstract A carrier for the display of a plurality of cylindrical or oblately spheroidal objects such as water tumblers, the carrier being formed from a cut and scored blank and folded to provide connected top, bottom and end panels, a central support panel with or without locks cut and folded from either the top or bottom panel and secured to the other of such panels, locking flaps foldably extending from the sides of said top and bottom panels and having partly elliptical openings therein to receive the upper and lower ends of the tumblers, and adapted to be folded inward to occupy planes angularly related to the planes of the top and bottom panels while holding the tumblers in position, the distal portions of said flaps being preferably locked to the central locking panel.
A carrier for at least a pair of at least partly cylindrical objects, said carrier being formed from a cut and scored paperboard blank and comprising: a. top, bottom and end panels hingedly connected together to form a carrier sleeve; b. locking flaps foldably extending from a side of said top and bottom panels and having partly elliptical openings therein to receive upper and lower ends of said objects; c. each of said locking flaps being folded with respect to the panel from which it extends to occupy a plane angularly related to said panel; d. a central support panel extending between said top and bottom panels and having means for engaging and retaining said locking flaps in the folded condition.

Dependent Claim
20 words
A carrier according to claim 1 wherein said openings are of different sizes according to the configuration of said objects.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
23 words
A carrier according to claim 1 characterized by means for locating said locking flaps at a desired angular position to grip said objects.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
161 words
A carrier for at least a pair of drinking tumblers or the like, said carrier being formed from a cut and scored paperboard blank and comprising: a. horizontal top and bottom panels and vertical end panels, all of said panels being hingedly interconnected to form a carrier sleeve; b. a central support panel cut and folded from one of said horizontal panels and extending therefrom to the other of said horizontal panels and having its distal end secured thereto; c. locking flaps foldably extending from the sides of said horizontal panels and having partly elliptical openings therein to receive upper and lower ends of said tumblers; d. each of said locking flaps being folded with respect to the panel from which it extends to occupy a plane angularly related to said panel; e. means for releasably securing the distal portions of said locking flaps to said central support panel thereby retaining angular relationship between said locking flaps and said horizontal panels.

Dependent Claim
20 words
A carrier according to claim 4, wherein said openings are of different sizes according to the configuration of said tumblers.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim
26 words
A carrier according to claim 1, wherein said central support panel has abutments cooperating with folded locking flaps to retain said flaps in folded angular condition.
