Abstract
Abstract Localized deposit of activated carbon-vermiculite mixture around seeds gives significant protection against certain pre-emergent herbicides. The mixture can be compressed in tablet form with a liquid fertilizer binder, or incorporated in water soluble mats, and permits precision field seeding with good protection from pre-emergence application of herbicides.
