Abstract
Abstract A method for producing two-piece containers wherein a turret carrying a plurality of container forms each has applied to it a side wall and a separately preshaped bottom, and as the turret rotates through successive stations, the side seam of the side wall is heat sealed closed, and the preformed bottom is heat sealed to the bottom of the side wall. Thereafter on a secondary turret the container rim is rolled and the fully formed container is ejected from the machine.
