Abstract THIS INVENTION RELATES TO NOVEL LOW CALORIE SWEETENING COMPOSITIONS AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THEM. MORE PARTICULARLY, THIS INVENTION RELATES TO LOW CALORIE, LOW BULK DENSITY SWEETENING COMPOSITIONS HAVING SWEETENING POWER ON A VOLUME BASIS APPROXIAMTELY EQUAL TO THAT OF SUCROSE, AND WHICH IS IN THE FORM OF A GRANULAR FREE-FLOWING SOLID, SIMILAR IN APPEARANCE TO ORDINARY CANE SUGAR. THE NOVEL COMPOSITION OF THIS INVENTION COMPRISE A COMBINATION OF HYDROLYZED CORN STARCH, ARABINOGALACTAN AND ARTIFICAL SWEETENERS.
