Abstract THE APPLICATION RELATES TO A PROCESS FOR THE WET SPINNING OF PREPONDERANTLY AROMATIC POLYAMIDES BY SPINNING A SPINNING SOLUTION CONTAINING BESIDES AN APROTIC SOLVENT A DISSOLVED METAL HALIDE INTO AN AQUEOUS SALT-CONTAINING COAGULATION BATH; THE COAGULATION BATH CONTAINING AS SALT THE SAME METAL HALIDE AS DOES THE SPINNING SOLUTION. THE PROCESS SIMPLIFIES THE MANUFACTURE OF FILAMENTS MADE FROM HIGH-MELTING POLYAMIDES HAVING A HIGH DYNAMIC EFFICIENCY AND PARTIALLY A POOR FLAMMABILITY, AND ITS ENSURES AN EASY REGENERATION OF THE COAGULATION BATHS.
