Abstract An oil-impregnated electrical capacitor, the dielectric spacer of which comprises a bi-axially oriented polypropylene film having at least one surface laminated with a propylene-ethylene copolymer layer, surface roughened by embossing, having 0.5 - 7.0 wt percent of ethylene units based on the total weight of the copolymer.
