Abstract
Abstract Mixtures of 3-(3,5-dialkyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)-propionic acid esters are stabilizers of organic material against thermooxidative ageing. They are prepared by conventional esterification techniques. A typical embodiment is a mixture of 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,6-hexanediol bis( 3-(3,5-di-t-butyl-4hydroxyphenyl)propionate) and 2,4,4-trimethyl-1,6-hexanediol bis( 3-(3,5-di-t-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)propionate).
