Abstract
Abstract Producing a mould by spraying a metal shell around a model, attaching pipes to the shell with a metal filled epoxy resin and subsequently backing the shell with a reinforcing material to enable the shell to be used in moulding, the method of attaching the pipes being such that no air pockets are formed in the region of the underside of the pipes adjacent the shell after the reinforcing material has been applied.
