Abstract A method for O-acylating the 3-hydroxymethyl group of 7acylaminocephalosporadesic acids by reaction with an azolide and new O-acyl-7-acylaminocephalosporadesic acids in which the O-acyl group is derived from an alkoxyalkanoic acid or an amino acid.
