Abstract
Abstract Thickened food prepared by adding all of the ingredients of a dry thickener substantially at the same time to a liquid food. The dry thickener contains carboxymethyl cellulose, a halogen donating compound, a bicarbonate and an organic acid. Greater solubility, dispersion and viscosity result.
