Filing: 1975-12-05
•
Granted: 1977-05-17
•
Expires: 1995-12-05
Abstract
Abstract Polyetherimides can be made by effecting an interchange reaction, in the presence of an alkali phenoxide, between aryloxy-substituted bisphthalimide and dihydric phenol. The reaction can be conducted either under melt conditions or in the presence of a dipolar aprotic solvent.
