Abstract

Abstract Non-sticky anhydrous bases useful as vehicles for cosmetics and therapeutic compositions to be topically applied are disclosed. The anhydrous base is composed of two essential ingredients namely isopropyl myristate or isopropyl palmitate and glyceryl monostearate in a concentration of more than 30% for the former by weight of the total composition. The base is excellent as a vehicle for cosmetics and also for pharmaceuticals to be topically applied in the treatment of skin disorders.
