Abstract

Abstract An improved radioimmunoassay for the polypeptidic thymic hormone thymosin alpha 1 is described. The assay employs a radiolabelled [Tyr1]-thymosin alpha 1 or [Tyr1]-desacetylthymosin alpha 1 as probe and an affinity purified thymosin alpha 1 antibody of improved selectivity.
