Abstract
Abstract A silver halide color photographic sensitive material is disclosed. The material is comprised of at least one 4-(2-alkoxyarylthio)-5-pyrazolone magenta dye forming coupler and at least one compound represented by general formula (I): <IMAGE> (I) wherein each R represents an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an aryl group, a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic group having an oxygen atom or a nitrogen atom as a hetero atom, R4CO-, R4SO2- or R4NHCO-, R1 and R2 each represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkoxy group or an alkenoxy group and R3 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group or an aryl group, wherein R4 represents an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group. The material can be used to form a color image with improved light and heat fastness.
