Abstract
Abstract A method of lowering cholesterol comprises administering to an animal safe and effective amounts of d-α-tocotrienol. A method of extracting d-α-tocotrienol from natural sources and pharmaceutical compositions containing d-α-tocotrienol are also disclosed.
