Abstract
Abstract A razor head comprises a body portion defining a guard and a cap, and a blade assembly having a blade disposed therein. The blade assembly is mounted by a first and second mounting member to the body portion in relation to the guard and cap in a manner to comprise a four-bar linkage. The body portion defines a stationary member of the four-bar linkage. The first and second mounting members each have one end connected to the body portion in a manner to define rotational members of the four-bar linkage about a separate axis of rotation for each of the first and second mounting members. The blade assembly is connected to the other end of the first and second mounting members to define a movable four-bar member responsive to rotational movement of the first and second mounting members so that shaving forces acting upon the blade assembly cause the blade assembly to move relative to the body portion.
