Abstract
Abstract There is described a fuser member having a layer comprising a condensation-cured poly(dimethyl siloxane) elastomer filled with a mixture of tin oxide and zinc oxide wherein the layer contains from about 5 to about 40 volume percent of said mixture and wherein the proportion of tin oxide to zinc oxide in said mixture is between about 25:1 and 1:25 by volume. The fuser member exhibits a good combination of properties such as improved creep resistance, decreased weight loss, improved hardness stability, or improved thermal conductivity compared with members using other filler materials, for example, tin oxide alone or zinc oxide alone.
