Abstract A firehose is constructed comprising a hose containing a conductive material throughout the length of the hose with a coupling at both ends of the hose, the coupling being electrically attached to the conductive material.

A conductive firehose comprising: a tube of a certain length with two ends; a conductive means for conducting electricity throughout the length of said tube; a coupling attached to each end of said tube and electrically connected to said conductive means; and conductive means having a resistance of no more than one ohm per 150 foot length of said firehose and being comprised of a flexible conductive material having a weight of less than 15 pounds per 150 foot length of said firehose.
