Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 10
Claim 1
Independent Claim 83 words
A conductive firehose comprising: a tube of a certain length with two ends; a conductive means for conducting electricity throughout the length of said tube; a coupling attached to each end of said tube and electrically connected to said conductive means; and conductive means having a resistance of no more than one ohm per 150 foot length of said firehose and being comprised of a flexible conductive material having a weight of less than 15 pounds per 150 foot length of said firehose.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 83 words
A conductive firehose comprising: a tube of a certain length with two ends; a conductive means for conducting electricity throughout the length of said tube; a coupling attached to each end of said tube and electrically connected to said conductive means; and conductive means having a resistance of no more than one ohm per 150 foot length of said firehose and being comprised of a flexible conductive material having a weight of less than 15 pounds per 150 foot length of said firehose.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 20 words
A firehose as described in claim 1 wherein the conductive means has a resistance of about 0.5 ohms or less.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 23 words
A firehose as described in claim 1 wherein the conductive material is selected from the group consisting of metal and alloys of metals.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 13 words
A firehose as described in claim 3 wherein the conductive material is copper.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 18 words
A firehose as described in claim 1 wherein the conductive material is in the form of wire strands.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 40 words
A firehose as described in claim 5 wherein the number of wire strands is from between about 10 to 20 and the gauge of the wire strands as measured in American Standard Gauge is from between about 20 to 25.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 21 words
A firehose as described in claim 5 wherein the wire strands run the length of the firehose in a mesh configuration.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 15 words
A firehose as described in claim 1 wherein each coupling is conductive and corrosion resistant.
Claim 10
Dependent Claim 12 words
A firehose as described in claim 1 wherein each coupling is brass.
