Abstract
Abstract 6-Phenyl-4H-imidazo(1,2-a)(1,4)benzodiazepines of the formula XXIV: wherein R0, R1, and R2 are hydrogen, methyl, or ethyl; wherein R3 is hydrogen, chloro, or fluoro; wherein R4 is hydrogen or fluoro; wherein R5 is hydrogen, chloro, fluoro, bromo, trifluoromethyl, or nitro; and wherein R'' and R'''' are hydrogen or alkyl of from one to three carbon atoms, anxiolytic activity and are suitable for the treatment of mammals and birds.
