Abstract
Abstract A process for manufacturing an electrophotographic toner is disclosed, comprising preparing a toner dispersion, adding a monomer and polymerizing without an emulsifier or with an emulsifier concentration less than the critical micell concentration. The toner has triboelectrification controlling properties on its surface, not influenced by the triboelectrification properties of coloring material when used in the toner, and without adhesive coagulation of the toner particles. It has excellent triboelectrification stability against environmental change and produces a good image free of fog.
